This Privacy Policy explains how GETNESTO SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED ("NESTO", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, protects, and manages personal data when users access the NESTO website, mobile application, WhatsApp support, phone support, booking system, or any official NESTO service.

By using NESTO, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. This policy should be read together with the Terms & Conditions, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy, and Trust & Safety Policy.

1. Who We Are

NESTO provides organized home services such as cleaning, cooking, laundry pickup/drop, pooja support, and related home assistance services. For privacy purposes, NESTO may act as a data fiduciary because it decides why and how customer data is collected and used for bookings, support, safety, payments, and service delivery.

2. Personal Data We Collect

  • Account and contact information: name, mobile number, email address, profile details, login details, and communication preferences.
  • Booking information: selected service, date/time, service address, apartment or society details, landmark, service instructions, selected tasks, add-ons, family size or cooking requirements where relevant, laundry item details, pooja requirements, booking history, and cancellation/rescheduling history.
  • Location information: address and location details to check service availability, assign professionals, support pickup/drop, track service status, and improve operations. Precise live location may be collected only where required by app functionality and user permission.
  • Payment information: payment status, transaction ID, amount paid, refund status, coupon usage, wallet or credit details, and invoice information. NESTO generally does not store full card, UPI PIN, banking password, or sensitive payment authentication details.
  • Device and technical information: IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, app version, device identifiers, crash logs, usage logs, cookies, SDK data, and referral source.
  • Communication data: WhatsApp messages, support chats, emails, call logs, complaints, feedback, ratings, photos or videos shared for service proof, complaint resolution, or quality checks.
  • Safety and verification data: OTP logs, service start/end time, professional assignment details, checklist completion, service proof photos where applicable, incident reports, and internal quality review records.

3. Data of Service Professionals and Partners

For workers, professionals, and partners, NESTO may collect name, phone number, address, government ID details, PAN/Aadhaar or other verification documents where required, photo, skill details, training records, attendance, service history, ratings, payment or salary details, bank details, emergency contact, and background verification details where applicable.

4. How We Use Personal Data

NESTO may use personal data to create and manage accounts, confirm bookings, assign professionals, provide services, share booking details with assigned professionals, process payments/refunds, send booking updates, provide support, handle complaints and disputes, improve quality, verify professional identity, prevent fraud and misuse, send reminders, send offers where permitted, improve website/app performance, conduct analytics, comply with law, and protect the rights, safety, and property of NESTO, customers, professionals, and partners.

5. Consent and Legal Basis

NESTO processes personal data based on consent, service necessity, legal compliance, safety, fraud prevention, customer support, legitimate business needs, and other lawful grounds available under applicable law.

Where consent is required, NESTO will seek clear and specific consent. Users may withdraw consent where applicable, but withdrawal may affect NESTO's ability to provide services, process bookings, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations.

6. Sharing of Personal Data

NESTO does not sell personal data.

NESTO may share necessary information with assigned service professionals, service partners, laundry partners, pooja partners, kitchen professionals, logistics partners, background verification providers, payment providers, banks or UPI providers, hosting providers, analytics tools, notification tools, OTP providers, WhatsApp/SMS/email providers, customer-support tools, crash-reporting tools, legal advisors, auditors, government authorities, courts, police, regulators, or any person or entity where disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety.

Professionals generally receive only the information needed to perform the booking, such as customer name, address, contact number, service scope, time slot, and instructions.

7. WhatsApp, SMS, Email, Calls, and Push Notifications

By using NESTO, users agree to receive booking-related communications through WhatsApp, SMS, phone calls, email, push notifications, or in-app messages. These may include OTP, booking confirmation, professional assignment, arrival updates, payment updates, cancellation/rescheduling updates, service completion, feedback requests, and support messages.

Marketing messages may be sent where permitted. Users may opt out of promotional communication, but service-related communication may continue where necessary.

8. Photos and Videos

NESTO may request or collect photos/videos for service proof, before/after confirmation, complaint resolution, damage verification, laundry item records, training, and quality review.

Customers should avoid sharing photos/videos containing sensitive personal items, documents, children, private areas, or unrelated people unless necessary for the service issue. Professionals are not allowed to take or misuse customer photos/videos except as permitted for service proof or support requirements.

9. Cookies and Tracking

The NESTO website or app may use cookies, pixels, SDKs, or similar technologies to improve performance, remember preferences, understand user behavior, measure campaign performance, prevent fraud, and improve booking experience. Users may control cookies through browser settings, but some features may not work properly if cookies are disabled.

10. Data Storage and Retention

NESTO will retain personal data only as long as necessary for providing services, maintaining booking records, handling disputes, processing payments/refunds, safety, fraud prevention, legal/tax compliance, business records, and service improvement.

Booking, payment, support, and dispute records may be retained for a reasonable period after service completion unless longer retention is required by law. When data is no longer required, NESTO may delete, anonymize, or securely archive it.

11. Security Measures

NESTO uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, misuse, loss, alteration, or disclosure. These may include access controls, authentication, encryption where appropriate, internal restrictions, secure hosting practices, monitoring, and vendor controls.

No internet-based system is 100% secure. Users should protect their account, OTP, device, and login details.

12. Children's Privacy

NESTO services are intended for adults. Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a booking. NESTO does not knowingly collect children's personal data for account creation or booking.

If child-related data is shared as part of service instructions, it should be limited to what is necessary. Where legally required, NESTO may seek parental or lawful guardian consent before processing children's personal data.

13. User Rights

Subject to applicable law, users may request access to personal data, correction of inaccurate data, completion or update of incomplete data, deletion or erasure where applicable, withdrawal of consent, grievance redressal, and information about how personal data is being used.

NESTO may verify the user's identity before processing any privacy request. Some requests may be limited where retention is required for legal, tax, payment, safety, fraud-prevention, dispute, or compliance purposes.

Suggested request format: Subject - Privacy Request: Access/Correction/Deletion/ Consent Withdrawal. Include registered name, registered mobile number, request type, and relevant booking ID if applicable.

NESTO should respond within the timeline required by applicable law and should maintain records of privacy requests and resolution.

15. Data Breach and Incident Handling

If NESTO becomes aware of a personal data breach or security incident affecting users, NESTO will assess the incident, take reasonable containment steps, and notify affected users and/or authorities where required by applicable law.

16. Data Transfer and Vendors

NESTO may use service providers whose servers, systems, or support teams are located in India or outside India. Where personal data is processed outside India, NESTO will take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate protection as required by applicable law.
